SANCTUARY CHURCH COUPLE'S CONNECT

The divorce rate in America today is one out of every two marriages. Fifty percent of all marriages ends in divorce. Unfortunately this statistic even applies to the church. But, there is another statistic that you're not going to hear in the main stream media or read about in a psychology book. It is this; that for every couple that attends church on a regular basis, reads their Bible and prays, the divorce rate drops to one out of every 1,105.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you." When we put God first in our lives He gives us contentment and a peace that passes all of our understanding. Yes, even in our marriages.

The goal of Couple's Connect is to encourage married couple to get involved in the church, to spend time in prayer and the study of God's Word and to put God first in their lives. As a couple grows closer to the Lord they will naturally grow closer to each other.

The vision of Couples Connect is to have healthy marriages. We also want couples to be equipped to come along side other couples who are experiencing challenges and encourage them from the Bible. It is our hope that every couple would experience a great marriage.

Meets every Wednesday at 7:00pm, at the home of Christian and Stephanie Thompson. Directions.  Come grow in the two most important relationships in your life; Your relationship with the Lord, and your relationship with your spouse. This is a great time to fellowship and get to know other couples as well.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

 9 Two are better than one,
       because they have a good return for their work:

 10 If one falls down,
       his friend can help him up.
       But pity the man who falls
       and has no one to help him up!

 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
       But how can one keep warm alone?

 12 Though one may be overpowered,
       two can defend themselves.
       A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
